Insanity Day 19: Rest Day
I’m making my rest day today because my mom’s car broke down, so 3 hours flashed by, leaving very little time for any exercise :/ That’s ok, because I will workout tomorrow and Sunday. No biggie! Woohoo!
I’m celebrating a friend’s birthday tonight in the city! In case you aren’t aware of what THE city is:

Happy workouts, all!
Polska, Biało Czerwoni!
A lot of my personality can be summed up by some of my most commonly used phrases:
“I wanna run.”
“I want ice cream.”
“Ho hum pig’s bum.” (Yes, that’s right. Accept it.)
And one important fact to add to that is:
I’m Polish. And incredibly proud of it. As a result, Poland will also be a frequent topic of mine. The title of this post is the Polish cheer at sporting events, it means “Poland, White and Red”, as those are the colors of the flag. I’m proud to wear my white and red :)
My next suggestion is to hit up New York City the first weekend of October. Being a native New Jerseyan, from here on out, I will call it The City. Everyone should know that this means New York City. That’s just how it is.
Every fall, on the first Sunday of October, The City hosts “Parada Pułaskiego”, or Pulaski Day Parade for those of you who are polish-illiterate (it’s okay, I forgive you), to commemorate Kazimierz Pułaski, a Polish hero in the American Revolutionary War. It proceeds down 5th Avenue and is just a jolly good time for people of all nationalities. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a parade? Plus, have you ever met any Polish people? They are loud, uninhibited, always joking, and so much fun. Not to mention super cool…you know what I mean if you know me. (Did I mention they’re very confident? And attractive?) This year, the parade happens to be TODAY! Sadly, I am missing it. I will ask my friend at NYU to enjoy it for me.
:))))))
